NC Blood Trailing Network Tracker Coverage Map

The North Carolina Blood Trailing Network Group is an organization that uses dogs to track wounded deer for people in North Carolina. To make it easier for people to find dog trackers in an area, the client wants to create a simple interactive map where they can display the important information of a tracker and the relative range where they operate.

To address this need, a web mapping application was created using ArcGIS Web App Builder. The location and attributes of the trackers were given by the client and they were plotted on the map using ArcGIS Online. To derive the range of the trackers, the Buffer Tool was used and the resulting layer was uploaded in ArcGIS Online. These buffers has a radius of 60-80 miles depending on the tracker. A simple interface was used so people can easily see the information about the trackers.
